Hello friends! I’m Alex, and I’ve always been enchanted by the world of literature. I aim to create safe spaces and promote representation for diverse groups of people—specifically, the autistic and LGBTQ+ community, as I'm from both of these communities. I'm also an artist, an iced coffee addict, and a Spider-Man enthusiast. I have two cats at home, Grace (a sweetheart) and Charlie (an orange demon). Also on my team are my two parakeets, Angel and Clover. Thank you so much for taking an interest in my work. I hope you enjoy what’s to come!

MoonPhase:
The Capes of Virginia are an elite team of metahumans chosen to protect major cities. They are famous, respected, and most importantly, a major joke. Well, a joke according to the words of the infamous vigilante, MoonPhase.
After a suicide attempt gone horribly wrong, ordinary high school student Blake Carter finds himself with the ability to create electricity. With these powers, Blake is finally able to do what he has always dreamed of: handle his repressed traumas by punching things. The government is not fond of MoonPhase’s vigilante tactics and has decided to take action. Two Cape members, Flame and Lotus, are chosen to discover MoonPhase’s identity and silence him. However, all across the state people are falling victim to seizures at work. The three must now join forces with the Rebels, a metahuman vigilante gang, to find out the cause. Tensions rise as the Capes, Rebels, and MoonPhase fall into a discourse about meta morality. But tensions are also rising quickly between MoonPhase and a certain hot head. If Flame and MoonPhase have a bit of a fling… who needs to know?

Thank you to my Mom, who has always been there for me from day one (literally). You are the bravest, kindest person I know and I am so proud to call you my mom. You have inspired me so much and you are always my number one hype person. Your support means the world to me.

Thank you to Mema, I am so grateful for you. You haven't always understood me, but you never failed to support me and try to learn more. The world would be a better place if it was filled with people like you. If only people held a fragment of the empathy that is in your heart. You are strong, and you make me stronger.

Felis, my partner for life, my love. Having you in my life for the past three years has been an adventure. And I am grateful for every moment of it. You make me a better man, you make me want to grow as a writer and as a person. Thank you for reading every draft, listening to every idea, and holding me together when I thought everything was going to fall apart. Your love and your kindness is always with me, and I hope you know that I love you beyond measure. I love you so much.

Aurora, my best friend ever and #1 beta reader. You and I met over Tik Tok in 2025, and I am so thankful that I downloaded that app because of the fact that we found each other on it. You are always there to hype me up, gently correct my plot holes, and to help me in anyway you can. Your support made MoonPhase (my debut novel) what it is. Without you, I'm scared to know what MoonPhase would've become. Because your input is truly that valuable to me, and so are you as a person. You are a great fellow writer, but an even better friend. Love you!!!

We mustn't forget Marshall! He has been such a huge help with MoonPhase, he was one of my first beta readers. He is such a great guy, and his friendship means the world to me. I can always laugh with him, or discuss the political state of the world with him. It's great to have a friend you can balance lighthearted and deep topics with. He is working on his own project, which I have read and 100% recommend!

Of course, we must remember Mae, they have been a huge help to my project. They have very fair pricing and have a specialty for editing books with LGBTQ+ characters! I had tried other editors before, but there was a barrier between me (an autistic queer man) and the editor (a neurotypical cisgender straight person). With Mae, everything worked so well. I understood the importance of using tact and sensitivity with my words in a new way. I feel that they helped me diversify my books and hold even more empathy to groups of other people that I'm not a part of. Seriously, I can't recommend them enough after their help. Soon, we'll be working together for the line edits of MoonPhase!

Angel (the blue one) and Clover (the green one) settling into their new home with me. Clover Is side-eyeing me after making him watch Heated Rivalry with me.

Grace taking a nap.

Charlie exploring the great outdoors.

Toby, my childhood dog.
